I’m Antico Nurra, “teco” for short, a parachutist of the 60s.
After the military service in Smipar (64-65) in the 1971 I start again to throw my self down from war-plane and for 22 years my week-ends are passed in the intalian airports and others, having fun taking pictures and filming my friends with a camera. My story with military watch arise from my partecipation in mixed groups of soldier of Folgore. During the 60s and the 70s I have worked in the Calderoni Jewels shop in Milan, at that time they were Girard-Perregaux importer: I was the sales responsible for the regions Emilia Romagna, Marche, Toscana e Abruzzo. In the 1976 I have started to produce watch/clock as self-employed for third party.

In the 80s Lamberto Serenelli asked me to belong in his Canopy team that excelled between the teams of those times.

I took part in the 1st italian record of Canopy, militaries and civilians, succeeding huking up 16 elements on 16 partecipants, on Pisa airport. In the 1985, after having gained a twenty-year experience in clocks/watch, I have been asked from my friends of Folgore to propose a newsworthy watch that would not gives any problems, so I made my first North Eagles military watch.

In October 1986 I started to deliver my former pieces. I’ve setted up the NORTH EAGLES of which I was the responsible until dicember 2002, passing then the hand off my son Stefano that still now carries on with the EMILTIME company. Now I follow everything that can be military-gift for special departments, firts of the ninth regiment “Col Moschin”. Also I am a consultant of a Japanese company that works operating in the range of military-watch, obviously in Japan.
